The Heat Academy is a series of training sessions designed for talented recreational players in the U8-U10 age groups who want to better their soccer skills and who may be interested in playing at a more advanced level on a Heat Select team or on their recreational team. Sessions are conducted by Heat competitive coaches. The focus of the Academy is on technical development and tactical application. Players will be observed and evaluated by the coaching staff. Some may receive invitations to join a Heat Select team, others will choose to return to their recreational team taking with them improved skills and a better knowledge of the game.
